Why Are Journeyman Lineman Jobs Dangerous

A journeyman lineman is the person that works on the lines at the top of electrical or telephone poles. It is very dangerous work and not for the faint of heart. A journeyman lineman typically works in sleet, wind, rain, or snowy conditions at high altitudes which makes it a very hazardous job. The position of journeyman lineman requires training to teach them how to work with high voltage lines so they do not get injured while replacing or repairing lines.
